It was a wonderful feeling of exuberance, delight, and amazement in
our hearts when we saw the South Carolina boundary sign. Floyd was the
most excited and was patting Danny and Charles on the back, shaking hands
and giving hugs. Danny and Charles just wanted to get out of the mountains.
We are almost home!

Over 10 hours on the bikes today was a work out - times 10. Danny did
great and is doing well. The climb worked Charles hard. Both took very
hot showers as soon as they got to the hotel. Charles was so warn out
he did not eat dinner. Danny, of course, does not miss a meal.
Floyd is staying with his
cousin in Easley tonight. Tomorrow, we need to get brakes on the motor
home. We have a TV interview at 9:00 and will
depart for Anderson as soon as its over.
