We enjoyed a day without riding. But it certainly
was not a day off, by any means. We had each hoped for a nap today
- we found this out at the dinner table as part of a discussion
tonight - but that did not occur.
The
morning stated at 6:30 A.M. with bicycle upkeep, cleaning, and
lubrication. Each bike takes about one hour to clean off the
road rage, adjust the gear changers, brakes, and thoroughly clean
and polish.
After a light breakfast at the local bakery, we spent the rest
of the morning on maintenance of the motor home.
The highlight of Charles’s day, and maybe his trip so far,
was the arrival of his daughter, Anna, and nephew, Moshe. What
a treat it is to see and hug family! They arrived at 2:30.
After their arrival we drove 25 minutes North to downtown Nashville
for some site seeing.
We
enjoyed a birthday party for Sean’s 22nd at a great Mexican restaurant.
There were 13 family members at the dinner. Needless to say,
the Leonard’s are a large brood.
Saturday, we start in the radio station with a half-hour live
show at 6:00 A.M.. Then we quickly travel to a TV station for
an interview at 7:30. Danny Jr. has another studio session we
hope to observe. And his son, Evan, who is 9 years old, has a
base ball game for which we all have tickets.
The highlight of our Saturday will be the arrival of Jim DeMario
from Charleston’s WCSC, Channel 5. We expect to see him around
1:30.
Sunday’s update will list the media that has helped us reach
so very many people. We will list the cities with the names
of the media.
