Total mileage: 384.7 Started in Laughlin, AZ. Ended in town of Kingman, AZ., 20 miles away. Due to mountain incline, we stopped early. We awakened today to the calm and pleasant, peaceful Colorado River . We had a very nice villa on the river that slept all six of us. We began the day by clearing and organizing the entire trailer. This was very long overdue. Danny also took six loads of wash. We fixed the computers on Danny and Charles’s bike. Both computers had broken due to wires getting cut. We enjoyed an exciting guitar concert by Roman and Sean on the dock at the river’s edge of our villa. The ride today was a Huff and a Puff , to say the least. It was on the schedule to ride 58 miles. Due to the late start to avoid the high heat, the very difficult climb, and the darkness, we ended after almost 15 miles. The ride tomorrow (Monday) will start with a 20-mile downhill ride into Kingman, AZ. Then we plan to reach Peach Springs. The best picture of the day was the sunset.
