Out
here in the desert, the road is very rough and bumpy, like one
of those old belt machines that wiggeled your fat off. It feels
like needles sticking in ya, all over. That is what our fore arms,
hands and feet feel like, not to mention our rear-ends from the
continual bumpity-bumps...
The picture sent today is the Marine Corp Logistic Base gatehouse,
from which they would not allow us to pass, and that left our
only option the I-40 freeway. But a great lady got her CO (Commanding
Officer) to let us through! We made it to Newberry Springs
yesterday. That makes us a couple days behind schedule, but
we're getting into the swing of things a little better, so
we should be able to make up for lost time. |
